Jennifer Lloyd

Jennifer Lloyd holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Studies Secondary Education and Minor in Political Science from Elizabethtown College and a Master of Public Administration and Policy from American University. Her work in public service began with an internship sponsored by the James A. Finnegan Fellowship Foundation. She was placed for the summer at the Pennsylvania Insurance Department and eventually received a job offer from the Department post-graduation as a Special Projects Manager. The following year, she then transitioned to helping launch Pennsylvania’s first State-Based Health Insurance Marketplace, known as Pennie. She currently serves as a Special Advisor to the Executive Director at Pennie, and her core competencies include state-based health insurance marketplaces, public health policy implementation strategy, organizational vision setting and strategic planning, project management and audit/regulatory compliance with both federal and state statutes. In her free time, Jennifer is a member of the Harrisburg Young Professionals organization and enjoys volunteering with her church’s outreach committee and spending time with her fur baby, Grayson.
